The story behind the bottle.
Shaft of Light by J-Scent is a composition that balances freshness with warmth through its intricate layering. Perfumer Hironobu Kobayashi has crafted an aromatic and citrusy opening that immediately draws you in, thanks to lemon, bergamot, and grapefruit. The heart notes of orange blossom, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, magnolia, gardenia, and rose create a lush floral bouquet that feels both fresh and sophisticated. As the fragrance settles into its base of musk, oakmoss, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, and vanilla, it transforms into an enveloping warmth that is both comforting and alluring.
Apply Shaft of Light with a light hand; its top notes are bright and can quickly overpower if used too heavily. The floral heart emerges after about an hour, so it’s best to let it develop naturally. This fragrance is ideal for daytime wear when you want something fresh yet warm.
