Jatamansi, launched by L'Artisan Parfumeur in 2007 and crafted by Karine Vinchon Spehner, is an intricate blend of aromatic, woody, and fresh spicy accords. The fragrance opens with the bright freshness of clary sage, grapefruit, and bergamot before transitioning into a heart of cardamom, nard Himalayan (jatamansi), chamomile, ylang-ylang, and rose. It settles into a base of vetiver, incense, tea, guaiac wood, sandalwood, and patchouli. This composition evokes the serene yet invigorating essence of an herbal garden at dawn, where earthy notes mingle with spicy and woody accords.
