Originating from the resinous barks of fir trees, Balsam Fir carries with it the scent of dense coniferous woods and a hint of fresh pine. Its aroma is both earthy and uplifting, reminiscent of walking through an evergreen forest on a cold day, where the air is sharp and invigorated by the chill.
Musk
Musk, once sourced from the musk deer and now often recreated synthetically, offers an earthy, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of skin. Its versatility allows it to blend seamlessly into various fragrance families, from oriental to woody, enhancing their depth without overpowering them.
Violet

Sophie Labbé grew up between Paris and the French countryside, exposed early to a wide range of scents from city life to coastal breezes. After studying chemistry, she trained at ISIPCA under Jean Kerléo, the in-house perfumer at Jean Patou, before spending over two decades at IFF creating fragrances including Bulgari Jasmin Noir, Calvin Klein Beauty, and Estée Lauder Pure White Linen. She now works as a principal perfumer at Firmenich.
