The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2017 by Kajal, Alujain is a unisex fragrance created by perfumer Christian Carbonnel. The composition opens with the vibrant freshness of rose before diving into a heart of sandalwood, guaiac wood, and vetiver. These woody and aromatic notes create a rich blend that transitions seamlessly into a base of agarwood (oud), musk, and vanilla, offering warmth and sensuality. Alujain is neither overly sweet nor overpowering but rather a sophisticated balance that feels both intimate and expansive.
Apply this fragrance to pulse points and let it develop naturally over time. The rose note is bright but fleeting, making way for the deeper woody and musky accords that bloom throughout the day. It pairs well with cooler evenings but also carries a subtle presence during warmer afternoons.
