The story behind the bottle.
Aoud Night by Montale was launched in 2014, crafted by Pierre Montale as an Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This composition opens with a bright citrus kick from bergamot and Sicilian lemon before transitioning into the heart of Moroccan rose and agarwood (oud). The base notes of leather, sandalwood, guaiac wood, amber, and white musk create a warm, enveloping aroma that feels both sophisticated and intimate. Aoud Night is neither overly sweet nor heavy, striking a balance between its woody and powdery accords.
Apply Aoud Night lightly to pulse points; it blooms beautifully on skin over time. The base notes take about an hour to fully settle in, so give it some time to develop its warmth and depth. Best for evening wear when the powdery and leathery accords can envelop you in a sophisticated embrace.
