Aliénor Massenet is a French perfumer who grew up in a family steeped in tradition, shaped in turn by an English boarding school and the streets of New York. She has worked at Symrise since 2016, and her fragrances are known for embracing contrast and unexpected pairings. Alongside her creative work, she runs olfactory workshops for people who have experienced difficult life events, in collaboration with CEW. Her creations have been recognized with the Fragrance Foundation UK's Best New Independent Fragrance award in 2018 for Marfa Spices by Memo, and the Fragrance Foundation France's Experts' Award for Author Fragrance in 2020 for Copper by Comme des Garçons.
