Launched in 2023, Kemi by Xerjoff is a sophisticated composition crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice. The fragrance opens with the rich and complex Laotian Oud, which immediately sets an atmosphere of depth and warmth. This oud is complemented by Atlas Cedar and Gurjan balsam, adding layers of woody and smoky notes. At its heart, Kemi features animalic elements like castoreum and civet, giving it a distinctive edge that contrasts with the powdery and musky base notes. The addition of Madagascar Vanilla and Australian Sandalwood rounds out the composition, providing a sweet yet earthy finish.
