The story behind the bottle.
Summer by Kenzo, launched in 2005 and crafted by the renowned perfumer Alberto Morillas, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that embodies the essence of a sun-drenched day. The composition begins with bright citrus notes, particularly lemon and bergamot, which create a fresh, vibrant opening. This freshness transitions into a heart filled with mimosa, almond milk, lily-of-the-valley, freesia, violet, and jasmine — a bouquet that is both sweet and powdery. The base of musk, amber, woods, styrax, and cedar adds warmth and depth, making it an inviting scent for any season.
Summer by Kenzo opens with strong citrus notes that fade quickly. Two sprays are enough to ensure the powdery and floral heart notes have time to develop on your skin. The scent is best suited for daytime wear as it transitions from fresh to warm, making it a perfect companion for casual outings or office settings.
