Launched in 2017 by Thameen and crafted by perfumer Alexandre Illan, Kiani is a woody spicy fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. The composition opens with the bright zest of citron and sage, giving way to elemi and green bell pepper for an unexpected layer of complexity. A heart of lavender and ginger adds herbal spiciness before settling into a base of cedar, vetiver, sandalwood, guaiac wood, and musk that reads as earthy and grounding.

Alexandre Illan, a French perfumer, trained as a junior perfumer at the Mane In-House Perfumery School in Grasse before joining Symrise's Aroma Molecules team in Holzminden, Germany, in 2018. He has created fragrances for Chantal Thomass, Der Duft, Equality Fragrances, IKKS, Thameen, and the Rammstein fragrance line.
