Launched in 2020 by Lalique and crafted by perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Julien Plos, Imperial Green is a chypre floral fragrance that juxtaposes crispness with warmth. The composition opens with lavender, which sets the tone for a fresh yet elegant experience, leading into the heart of orange blossom. This floral essence is then grounded by base notes of ambroxan, patchouli, and vetiver — creating an earthy and woody foundation that ensures the fragrance remains both complex and comforting.
Apply Imperial Green in two light sprays to allow the top notes to settle before the base unfolds. This fragrance is best experienced close to skin rather than at arm's length, as it develops its warmth gradually over time.
