Launched in 2017 by Parfums de Marly and crafted by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani, Layton Exclusif is a complex Oriental fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with bright citrus notes like mandarin orange and bergamot, which cut through the warmth of almond and watery nuances. As it evolves, the heart reveals a blend of floral essences such as rose, gardenia, and water lily, adding an almost ethereal quality to the scent. However, it is in its base that Layton Exclusif truly comes into its own: laotian oud, guaiac wood, and vanilla create a rich blend of warmth and depth, enhanced by subtle animalic notes like civet and leather.
