Limited 71 Intense by WIDIAN was launched in 2020, crafted by perfumers Ali Aljaberi and Jean-Claude Astier. This oriental fougère composition opens with a bright burst of bergamot and sage before giving way to the rich warmth of oud and amber. The heart notes of lavender and bay leaf introduce a fresh spicy element that contrasts beautifully with the woody base of akigalawood, agarwood (oud), and patchouli. This fragrance is neither overtly sweet nor overwhelming; instead, it offers a nuanced blend of aromatic and powdery undertones that linger throughout the day.

Ali Aljaberi, based in Abu Dhabi, grew up around his family's fragrance boutique, opened in 1982. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris, and with the help of perfumer Jean-Claude Astier founded the brand A J Arabia in 2008, later renamed Widian as its ambitions grew international.
