Love and Tears by By Kilian was launched in 2010, crafted by the renowned perfumer Calice Becker. This fragrance opens with a bright burst of bergamot and petitgrain, quickly giving way to an intricate interplay of white florals like jasmine and lily-of-the-valley, balanced by green notes such as galbanum. The heart is warm with lavender and ylang-ylang, while the base offers a grounding mix of oakmoss, cedar, and styrax. This composition captures a moment of intense emotion, where tears can just as easily be those of joy or sorrow.
