Launched in 2018 by Prada and created by perfumer Daniela Andrier, Luna Rossa Black is the latest iteration of the brand's signature Luna Rossa line. Inspired by the Prada Luna Rossa sailing challenge, this fragrance stands out with its blend of bergamot and angelica at the top, giving way to a heart of patchouli and coumarin, and settling into a base of woody amber and musk. Unlike previous editions that featured lavender prominently, Luna Rossa Black focuses on creating a warm, powdery, and slightly sweet aroma with a strong emphasis on its aromatic and balsamic notes.

Luna Rossa Black has a slow build, so give it time to develop on your skin. One or two sprays are sufficient as the base notes bloom over several hours, providing a lasting warmth that reads best in close proximity rather than across a room.
