No.14 Icila by Maison Louis Marie, launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Marie du Petit Thouars, is a composition that balances vibrant freshness with deep warmth. The fragrance opens with the bright zing of blood grapefruit and mandarin leaf, followed by the lush sweetness of plum and osmanthus. As it evolves, Bulgarian rose and cherry blossom add layers of floral complexity before settling into a base of patchouli, vanilla flower, and woody notes that create an enveloping warmth.
One or two sprays are enough — the blood grapefruit and mandarin leaf top notes fade within an hour but leave behind a lingering floral warmth. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than across a room, so aim for pulse points.
