Majestic Cashmere by Bentley is a Woody fragrance for women and men. Majestic Cashmere was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Julie Massé. The fragrance features Cashmere Wood, Ambrette (Musk Mallow), Orris Root, Musk, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Labdanum and Bourbon Vetiver. Showcasing the precious aromatic ingredient that most vividly conjures an exotic destination, each fragrance of Bentley Beyond - The Collection translates a voyage into scent. Composed of three rising young perfumers, the first trio of the collection takes us to three different countries, each associated with an olfactory note and a colour theme inspired by Bentley Motors' exclusive palette.With its lush tropical beaches by the Arabian Sea and striking architecture blending Hindu, Portuguese and Ottoman influences, Goa has long been a haven for chic Bohemians. Julie Massé evokes it by weaving precious ingredients from all over the world into a treasure of India: Majestic Cashmere.

Cashmere Wood
Cashmere Wood is not derived from actual cashmere or wood but rather crafted in laboratories to evoke the sensation of a warm, cozy sweater. Its scent profile combines woody and powdery notes with subtle musk undertones, creating an enveloping warmth that feels both luxurious and comforting.
Ambrette (Musk Mallow)
Ambrette, derived from the seeds of Abelmoschus moschatus, emits a rich, earthy aroma reminiscent of musk and honey. This natural ingredient is prized for its ability to evoke both warmth and mystery in perfumery, adding a subtle animalic note that enhances the overall composition.
Orris Root
Orris Root, derived from the dried rhizomes of Iris flowers, carries an earthy, slightly sweet scent with hints of violet. Its extraction is laborious and time-consuming, but the result is a note that can transform a fragrance’s character, lending depth and complexity without overwhelming.
Julie Massé

Julie Massé is a perfumer born in Tokyo who moved to France at five, with a father's family rooted in Grasse and trained at the Roure perfumery school. She studied chemistry and perfumery at ISIPCA before apprenticing as a quality controller at Fragrance Resources in Grasse, where mentor Pierre Bourdon taught her the traditional Jean Carles method. She later worked at Mane alongside Christine Nagel and Cécile Matton on fragrances for Giorgio Armani and Yves Saint Laurent, before being recruited in 2012 by Shay & Blue founder Dom De Vetta to create the brand's six inaugural fragrances, and remains its in-house perfumer. Her creations include Giorgio Armani's Sì Passione and Sì Fiori.
