The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2016 by Marc Jacobs and crafted by perfumer Honorine Blanc, Pear Splash 2016 is a refreshing aromatic fruity fragrance. The scent opens with bright pear, bergamot, and lemon, creating an immediate burst of citrusy freshness. This is followed by notes of gin and juniper, adding a subtle spicy twist that contrasts the sweetness of the fruit. Freesia provides a floral touch in the heart before settling into a base of teak wood, musk, and amber, grounding the composition with warmth and depth.
One to two sprays are sufficient for this fragrance. The top notes of pear and bergamot are bright but fade within an hour, so it's best applied just before you step out. The musky base notes emerge after a few hours, providing a warm finish that lasts through the day.
