Launched in 2008 by Marc Jacobs, Splash Gardenia is a Floral Green fragrance that balances the sweet simplicity of gardenias with subtle hints of green and musky undertones. The composition opens with a fresh, vibrant note of white florals, which seamlessly transitions into a powdery heart infused with lactonic and animalic accords. This blend creates an intriguing contrast between sweetness and complexity, making it a fragrance that evolves throughout the day.
Apply one to two sprays for a balanced effect. The powdery base notes will emerge after about an hour, so it’s best to let it settle before heading out. Avoid layering it with other strong fragrances as it has a delicate balance that works best on its own.
