The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2022, Origins Of The Collector by Memoirs Of A Perfume Collector is a fragrance that encapsulates the journey of discovery and self-discovery. Created by perfumer Harry Sherwood, this composition opens with olibanum, leading into a heart of coffee, patchouli, and caramel before settling into a warm base of Peru balsam, ambrette, musk, vanilla, and amber. The scent is reminiscent of walking along the Thames in London, where every step holds memories and stories — from the bustling city to quiet moments of reflection.
This fragrance projects well with just one or two sprays. The base notes bloom after an hour, so it's best to apply in the morning for a full day’s wear. It pairs particularly well with the warmth of fall evenings.
