Hiram Green, born and raised in Toronto, studied drawing and painting at the Ontario College of Art and Design before moving to London, where he worked in perfume stores and opened his own shop, Scent Systems, in 2003. After ten years he closed the shop, moved to the Netherlands, and launched his first entirely natural fragrance, Moon Bloom, in 2013, working self-taught outside formal perfumery schools; his fragrance Hyde won the 2019 Art & Olfaction Artisan award.
