Launched in 2018, Mysterious Oud by Bortnikoff is a composition crafted by Dmitry Bortnikoff that combines the rich, smoky essence of oud with warm spicy and woody accords. The fragrance opens with citrusy notes from orange and bergamot, followed by cardamom and pink pepper, creating an initial freshness that contrasts sharply against its deeper base. At the heart, rose and jasmine add a touch of floral warmth, while amber, castoreum, and myrrh lend it an opulent depth. The final layer is anchored by Indian oud, sandalwood, cedar, and vanilla, resulting in a scent that is both enigmatic and captivating.
