Launched in 2019, psy-cou by Nomenclature is a creation from perfumer Frank Voelkl that blends aromatic and warm spicy notes with woody and balsamic accords. The fragrance opens with a vibrant freshness that quickly gives way to the warmth of vanilla and sweet spices, grounding it in an enveloping amber base. This composition is neither overtly bold nor understated; instead, it strikes a harmonious balance between fresh spiciness and rich woodsy notes.
Apply psy-cou with two sprays — it blooms over an hour and its base notes carry through the day. It reads best close to skin rather than across a room, so aim for pulse points.
