Father Figure by Phlur, launched in 2023 and crafted by Frank Voelkl, is a Woody fragrance that weaves together powdery and earthy notes into a composition that feels both familiar and comforting. The opening fig and cassis introduce a fruity sweetness that gives way to the floral depths of water lily and iris. At its core, musk and sandalwood create a warm, enveloping base that is grounded by patchouli leaf and vanilla. This fragrance strikes a balance between softness and depth, making it both approachable and intriguing.
This fragrance blooms gradually on the skin, so it's best to apply two sprays initially. The fruity top notes are fleeting, but the musky base lingers throughout the day, making it perfect for an office environment where a subtle scent is appreciated.
