Isabelle Doyen is a French perfumer who spent much of her childhood in Tahiti, where her scientist father sparked her love of exotic scents and tropical flowers. She graduated from ISIPCA in 1982, later collaborating with her former professor Monique Schlienger before meeting Annick Goutal in 1985, beginning a partnership that produced most of the beloved Goutal line, including Eau d'Hadrien and Petite Chérie; she has continued with the house alongside Goutal's daughter Camille since Annick's death. She is also a founding contributor to the Swiss label Les Nez, known for the Turtle Vetiver series, and teaches olfactory training at ISIPCA, favoring materials including rose essence, estragon, galbanum, and Hedione.
