Launched in 2024 and crafted by perfumer Celine Perdriel, Oud and Zagara by Acqua di Parma is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance that marries the intensity of oud with the delicate notes of orange blossom (zagara). The composition opens with a bright burst of lemon and nutmeg before transitioning into an intricate heart of ylang-ylang and saffron. The base layers in ambergris, suede, labdanum, vetiver, and musk to create an enveloping warmth that is both luxurious and intimate.

Céline Perdriel was born in the South-West of France between Toulouse and Agen, and her fascination with fragrance began at age eight when her grandmother gave her a set of aromatic accords. She studied chemistry and trained at ISIPCA, gaining experience at Synarome before joining Givaudan in 2006 to work on L'Oréal luxury fragrances including Montblanc Legend; a formative meeting with Jean-Claude Ellena in Grasse solidified her ambitions. She now serves as Senior Perfumer at Cosmo International Fragrances, leading a creative team in Paris.
