Oud Shamash by The Different Company was launched in 2011, crafted by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. This composition opens with the warmth of rum and saffron, bringing a rich, spicy aroma that immediately captures attention. As it evolves, notes of cinnamon, oud, and patchouli add depth, creating an earthy and balsamic character that is both complex and inviting. The base notes of vanilla, ambergris, and leather round out the scent with a smoky, powdery finish.
