Launched in 2020 by Pierre Montale for Montale, Oudrising is a complex Oriental fragrance that balances the smoky richness of oud with fresh spicy and woody notes. The composition opens with bergamot and pink grapefruit, which cut through the warmth of pepper and oud, creating an intriguing tension between freshness and depth. This interplay continues as smoke and black tea add a layer of sophistication to the base notes of leather, labdanum, rose, patchouli, jasmine, tobacco, incense, vanilla, sandalwood, amber, musk, and cedar.
