The story behind the bottle.
Dryad, crafted by Liz Moores and launched by Papillon Artisan Perfumes in 2017, is a Woody Chypre that embodies the essence of an enchanted forest. The fragrance opens with galbanum and tarragon, creating a vibrant green freshness that contrasts beautifully with the earthy undertones of clary sage and thyme. As it settles, the composition evolves into a rich blend of woody balsams like vetiver and Peru balsam, anchored by oakmoss and benzoin. The overall effect is immersive, transporting wearers to a mystical grove where nature's secrets unfold.
Apply Dryad in light layers to allow its complex notes to unfold gradually. The green top notes are fleeting, but the earthy and woody heart is long-lasting, making it perfect for a day that transitions into night. Avoid layering with other fragrances as this composition thrives on its own intricate balance.
