Patricia de Nicolai introduced Iris Medicis Intense by Nicolai Parfumeur Créateur in 2023, crafting a scent that balances the powdery elegance of iris with woody and musky depths. The fragrance opens with green notes from galbanum and carrot seeds, adding a fresh, earthy touch before transitioning into the heart where iris and orange blossom intertwine with violet and neroli. This floral bouquet is grounded by the rich base notes of sandalwood, leather, musk, and vanilla, creating an atmosphere that is both refined and sensuous.
Apply Iris Medicis Intense lightly — the powdery iris is the star here, and it needs space to shine. The fragrance develops gradually over time, so one or two sprays are enough for a subtle yet lasting presence throughout the day.
