The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2020 by Parle Moi de Parfum, Gardens of India is a composition that immediately immerses you in the warmth and richness of Indian temple gardens. Perfumer Michel Almairac opens this fragrance with cardamom, which introduces an almost spicy warmth reminiscent of sun-drenched pathways. The heart unfolds into a lush embrace of tuberose and jasmine, creating an intoxicating blend that is both ethereal and deeply sensual. The base notes of sandalwood and vanilla provide a creamy, woody foundation that lingers like silk on the skin, making this fragrance feel like a secret whispered rather than announced.
Given its moderate longevity and sillage, Gardens of India is best applied liberally to pulse points. The opening cardamom note fades within an hour, but the base notes of sandalwood and vanilla continue to evolve throughout the day, making it perfect for daytime wear where warmth and intimacy are key.
