The story behind the bottle.
Tubereuse Absolue by Perris Monte Carlo was launched in 2017, crafted by perfumer Mathieu Nardin. This fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of galbanum and cardamom, creating an aromatic tension that sets the stage for its heart: a lush bouquet of tuberose, gardenia, jasmine sambac, and orange blossom. The base notes of cedar, vetiver, and musk provide a grounding animalic warmth, making this composition both complex and captivating.
Tubereuse Absolue is neither overtly sweet nor overpowering; instead, it balances the richness of its floral heart with an earthy foundation that keeps it from becoming cloying.
Apply this fragrance lightly at first — the initial top notes are bright and will fade within an hour. Allow it to settle into its lush floral heart for a more nuanced experience. It pairs well with layered clothing, as the warmth of the base notes becomes more pronounced close to the skin.
