Luca Maffei's Oud Imperial, released in 2012, encapsulates the essence of opulence and warmth with a rich blend of woody and smoky accords. The fragrance opens with caraway and jasmine, creating an intriguing contrast between fresh spice and floral sweetness. This leads into a heart of agarwood (oud) and incense, which adds depth and a sense of ritualistic elegance. The base notes of patchouli, blackwood, labdanum, vetiver, cedar, and sandalwood weave together to create a complex blend that is both earthy and balsamic, leaving a lasting impression of luxurious warmth.
