The story behind the bottle.
Bois Mystique by Houbigant is a Woody fragrance for men that was launched in 2018 and composed by perfumer Luca Maffei. The scent opens with cardamom, pink pepper, ginger, and artemisia, creating an aromatic and fresh spicy accord that feels invigorating yet subtly complex. As the heart unfolds, bergamot and neroli introduce a bright freshness, while incense adds depth and warmth. The base notes of cedar, myrrh, amber, guaiac wood, cashmere wood, and musk create a rich smoky and balsamic backdrop that lingers throughout the day.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points; the aromatic top notes are bright but fleeting. Allow time for the rich woodsy base to develop fully, as it will provide lasting warmth throughout the day.
