Bois Mystique Extrait de Parfum by Houbigant, launched in 2022 and crafted by perfumer Luca Maffei, is a composition that dances between warm spice and woody depth. The fragrance opens with cardamom and pink pepper, creating an initial burst of freshness before giving way to the heart of davana and neroli, which adds a subtle floral warmth. The base notes of guaiac wood and myrrh bring a smoky, balsamic richness that anchors the scent in earthy complexity.
Apply two sprays to the pulse points. The initial freshness fades within an hour, but the woody base notes will continue to develop close to your skin for hours. This fragrance is best suited for evenings or cooler weather when its smoky warmth can be fully appreciated.
