The story behind the bottle.
Launched in 2023 by Phlur, Amber Haze is a creation from perfumer Donna Ramanauskas that marries the warmth of amber with the subtle metallic edge of saffron. The top note of saffron introduces an unexpected shimmer that contrasts beautifully with the rich, powdery heart of jasmine and white floral notes. This composition settles into a base of musk, vanilla, and oakmoss, creating a scent that is both comforting and slightly enigmatic.
Apply this fragrance in light layers; it develops its full character within an hour. The metallic saffron note is bright but fleeting, so let it bloom before you move about your evening. It reads best close to skin rather than projecting across a room.
