Launched in 2005, Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone London was crafted by perfumer Beverley Bayne to blend the freshness of pomegranate with warm, spicy undertones. The fragrance opens with a burst of bright pomegranate and rhubarb, giving way to a heart of rich plum and raspberry. These fruits are complemented by notes of clove and pink pepper, adding a subtle heat that contrasts beautifully with the sweetness. The base notes of guaiac wood, olibanum, opoponax, rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, cedar, patchouli, amber, and musk create a complex, enveloping warmth.

Beverley Bayne is a Senior Perfumer at CPL Aromas in the UK, who entered the fragrance industry by accident after taking a laboratory job and beginning perfumer training a year later. She created Eau Sans Pareil for Penhaligon's and worked alongside fellow CPL Aromas perfumers Julie Pluchet and Dominique Preyssas on Franck Muller's fine fragrance collection.
