“Powdered Veil by Miller Harris is a Oriental Floral fragrance for women and men”
The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a woody, musky composition with a powdery undertone. Voted best for fall and winter wear — and genuinely unisex.

Launched in 2018 by Miller Harris, Powdered Veil is a creation from perfumer Mathieu Nardin that marries woody and powdery accords with floral warmth. The fragrance opens with pink pepper and rhubarb, adding a subtle spiciness to the composition before transitioning into a heart of geranium and hedione. Orchid and other floral notes blend seamlessly into the base, where cashmeran, sandalwood, amber, musk, labdanum, bourbon vanilla, and patchouli create an enveloping warmth that lingers on the skin.

Application Tips
Apply Powdered Veil in thin layers to allow each note to develop gradually. The powdery and woody base notes will take about an hour to fully bloom, so wait before adding more sprays. This fragrance is best enjoyed close to the skin rather than diffused widely.
