Profumo Imperiale by Nobile 1942 is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. Profumo Imperiale was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Marie Duchêne. The fragrance features Myrhh, Amber and Bergamot. Profumo Imperiale is a special project by prestigious artists of the Italian region of Liguria. Five different companies (Nobile 1942, Bormiolo Costantino, Fratelli De Martini, Rizzio and Fratelli Sechi) have teamed up to create this small, unique and innovative artwork.The composition is made from natural ingredients including bergamot, myrrh and amber. Rich smelling liquid is contained in an elegant bottle of blown glass, its elongated neck adorned with silver ornaments. Oval stone box is wrapped in a damask fabric in soft pink color.

A Signature Fragrance
Myrhh
Myrrh is harvested from the Commiphora tree, native to regions like Somalia and Ethiopia. Its scent is complex, with a dry, woody base note that transitions into a spicy, slightly sweet aroma, reminiscent of incense and smoke. This depth makes it a versatile ingredient in perfumery.
Amber
Amber is an olfactory illusion, conjured from labdanum, benzoin, vanilla, and other resins to evoke the sun-soaked warmth of the Mediterranean coast. Its scent is both earthy and sweet, with a powdery undertone that mimics the richness of ancient incense.
Bergamot
Harvested from the bergamot orange tree native to southern Italy, this note opens with a burst of green and citrusy zest, quickly revealing an underlying floral nuance that softens its brightness. Its scent is both invigorating and comforting, reminiscent of sun-drenched mornings in Calabria.
Marie Duchêne

Marie Duchêne knew from childhood that she wanted to be a perfumer. Born in 1973 and raised in the Reims region of France, she studied chemistry before entering ISIPCA in Versailles in 1994, then apprenticed with perfume houses in Grasse. In 2002 she founded her own fragrance creation company, MD Fragrances, and today she also serves as a Senior Perfumer at Givaudan, working with brands including Molinard, Nobile 1942, Le Galion, and Maison Tahité.
