Launched in 2008 by Profumum Roma, Vanitas is a fragrance that embodies the complex charm of vanilla and warmth. It opens with a rich vanilla accord, which soon gives way to soft white florals and powdery notes, creating an enveloping embrace of sweetness and elegance. The base notes of amber, balsamic, woody, and warm spicy accords add depth and longevity, making Vanitas a truly comforting and sophisticated scent.
Vanitas is best applied in two light sprays. The vanilla opening is bright and immediate but fades into the powdery and woody base notes over time. This fragrance reads better close to skin rather than from afar, so wear it for an evening when you want a subtle yet comforting presence.
