Pure Jasmine by Trussardi is a fragrance for women. Pure Jasmine was launched in 2022. Pure Jasmine was created by Violaine Collas and Julie Massé. Top notes are Pistachio, Neroli and Bergamot; middle notes are Jasmine, Champaca and Mugane; base notes are Vanilla, Sandalwood and Patchouli. The Eau de Parfum belongs to the chypre white floral family. The top notes open with the luminous verve of bergamot that blends with a fresh salty pistachio accord and the unexpected richness of neroli. An intrepid and unexpected character that passes from the woman to the fragrance and vice versa strongly emerges in the heart notes (Champaca JeTM, Jasmine Absolute, MuganeTM). Hidden in the base notes (Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Vanilla) is the secret to the fragrance’s exceptional persistence.

A Signature Fragrance
Vanilla
Vanilla is the scent of childhood memories and cozy nights by the fire. Derived from the cured pods of orchids native to Mexico, it has a rich sweetness that can range from creamy and milky in texture to deep and almost smoky. Its versatility makes it a staple in perfumery, capable of adapting its character to complement both light citrus notes and heavier woody accords.
Sandalwood
Sandalwood, sourced from the heartwood of trees native to India and Indonesia, carries a rich, creamy aroma that is both smooth and slightly sweet. Its scent is often described as warm and woody, with a powdery undertone that adds depth and complexity to any composition.
Patchouli
Patchouli emanates from the leaves of Pogostemon cablin, a bush native to Southeast Asia. Its scent is deeply woody with hints of musty earth, warm spices, and a subtle sweetness that can be both comforting and complex. This versatile note has been a staple in perfumery for decades, often used to evoke feelings of nostalgia and grounding.
Julie Massé

Julie Massé is a perfumer born in Tokyo who moved to France at five, with a father's family rooted in Grasse and trained at the Roure perfumery school. She studied chemistry and perfumery at ISIPCA before apprenticing as a quality controller at Fragrance Resources in Grasse, where mentor Pierre Bourdon taught her the traditional Jean Carles method. She later worked at Mane alongside Christine Nagel and Cécile Matton on fragrances for Giorgio Armani and Yves Saint Laurent, before being recruited in 2012 by Shay & Blue founder Dom De Vetta to create the brand's six inaugural fragrances, and remains its in-house perfumer. Her creations include Giorgio Armani's Sì Passione and Sì Fiori.
