The Story

Julian Bedel launched Quebracho in 2010 as part of Fueguia 1833's Linneo collection, a line dedicated to the legacy of Carl Linnaeus. This woody scent is built around incense, juniper, and bergamot, evoking the rugged landscapes and ancient botanicals of Patagonia. The composition opens with an incense note that immediately sets a smoky, almost ritualistic tone, while juniper adds a fresh spiciness that cuts through the aromatic richness. Bergamot in the base provides a subtle citrus warmth, grounding the scent in earthy familiarity.

Quebracho is as much about the journey it evokes as its individual notes — think of the arrival of a horse after crossing endless trails, where the force of inspiration permeates everything around you.

Application Tips

Apply this fragrance in light layers — it blooms over time to reveal its smoky depth. The incense note is immediate but fades quickly, while the juniper and bergamot linger for hours, making it perfect for a day that transitions seamlessly into evening.
