Quilombo
“Quilombo by Fueguia 1833 is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men”
The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a sweet, vanilla composition with a lactonic undertone. Voted best for fall and winter wear — and genuinely unisex.

Julian Bedel launched Quilombo in 2016 as part of Fueguia 1833's collection, drawing inspiration from the resistance and independence movements of colonial Brazil. The fragrance opens with a rich milk note that transitions into caramel and Mexican vanilla, evoking a wild atmosphere full of dances, rhythms, and delicious flavors made from cupuacú and dulce de leche. This unisex scent captures the essence of an untouched tropical landscape, blending native and African roots to create a warm, comforting aroma.

Application Tips
Apply Quilombo directly to pulse points for best effect. The milk top note fades quickly, but the caramel and vanilla middle notes take center stage within minutes. This fragrance is best suited for close encounters rather than filling a room, so keep it close to your skin.
