Rêverie de Bergamote by Miller Harris, crafted by perfumer Emilie Bouge and launched in 2021, is a captivating blend of citrus, aromatic, and earthy notes. The fragrance opens with the bright zestiness of Calabrian bergamot and tangerine, creating an immediate sense of freshness that is both invigorating and uplifting. As it evolves, artemisia and orange bring a subtle spiciness to the composition, while basil and lavender add herbal nuances. Émilie Bouge was born near Grasse into a family of perfume creators tracing back to an ancestor who founded the 19th-century company Bruno Court. Trained at ISIPCA in Versailles, she began her career at LMR, then moved to Charabot (later acquired by Robertet), helping set up its Indonesian laboratory, and has collaborated with Creed, Trudon, Acqua di Parma, and Xerjoff. In 2010 she and her sister Marie-Eugène launched the niche brand Brecourt; in 2019 she launched her own brand, Bouge; and in April 2025 she joined Takasago as Senior Perfumer in Paris.
