Launched in 1960, Madame Rochas Intense is an iconic Floral Aldehyde fragrance by the house of Rochas. The composition opens with bright aldehydes and citrus notes like bergamot and lemon, creating a fresh, crisp atmosphere. This gives way to a heart of white florals such as jasmine, rose, and tuberose, which mingle with iris for a lush floral bouquet. At its base, cedar, sandalwood, musk, and incense create a warm, smoky, and powdery finish that grounds the fragrance in elegance.
One or two sprays are sufficient to capture the essence of this fragrance. The aldehydic top notes are bright but quick to evolve into the floral heart, so apply it close to your skin for the best experience. It pairs well with the cooler tones of fall and winter.
