Launched in 2014, Acqua Essenziale Blu by Salvatore Ferragamo is a fragrance that marries the brand's traditional Italian elegance with modern aromatic and citrus freshness. Perfumer Alberto Morillas crafted this composition around a bright opening of lemon and Calabrian bergamot, which contrasts beautifully against an earthy base of Atlas cedar and patchouli. The heart notes of lavender and cardamom add warmth and complexity, while ambroxan and tonka bean provide a subtle sweetness that rounds out the overall effect.
Apply two sprays to your pulse points. The bright citrus top notes are most impactful within the first hour, while the warm spicy and earthy base notes develop gradually. This fragrance works well during cooler weather when its earthy warmth can be fully appreciated.
