Launched in 2019 and crafted by Serge Majoullier, Gentil Suono by Salvatore Ferragamo is a Woody Floral Musk fragrance that weaves together contrasts with precision. The composition opens with the bright freshness of mandarin orange and geranium, creating an immediate sense of vibrancy. This gives way to a heart of black pepper and plum, adding a subtle spiciness and warmth. The base notes, featuring myrrh, labdanum, olibanum, bourbon vetiver, and cedar, ground the fragrance with rich, earthy tones that linger long after the initial burst.
Apply one to two sprays on pulse points for a balanced wear. The top notes are bright but fade within the first hour, so allow it time to settle into its warm, woody base. This fragrance reads best close to skin rather than across a room, making it ideal for intimate settings or a day at work.
