Santal Wood by Montale was launched in 2012 and is a creation of Pierre Montale. This Oriental Woody fragrance opens with the fresh spicy notes of juniper, cardamom, nutmeg, and black pepper, which create an aromatic tension that cuts through the air. As it settles into its heart, sandalwood and cedar provide warmth and depth, while oakmoss adds a subtle mossy earthiness. The marine element of sea water brings an unexpected freshness to the composition, making Santal Wood both grounded and evocative.
