Launched in 2023, Search by Amouage is an exploration of contrasts and depth, crafted by perfumer Alexis Grugeon. The fragrance opens with bright citrus notes — lime, lemon, and mandarin orange — that cut through the air like a fresh morning breeze. These top notes are quickly joined by aromatic and spicy elements such as elemi and black pepper, adding warmth and complexity. As Search settles into its base, woody and balsamic accords of vetiver and guaiac wood emerge, grounding the composition with earthy richness.
