Tonka Bean
Tonka Bean, derived from the seeds of the Dipteryx odorata tree found in South America, brings an essence of vanilla with hints of almond and caramel. Its aroma is both warm and comforting, reminiscent of rich desserts yet grounded by a subtle earthiness that lends depth to any perfume.
Amber
Amber is an olfactory illusion, conjured from labdanum, benzoin, vanilla, and other resins to evoke the sun-soaked warmth of the Mediterranean coast. Its scent is both earthy and sweet, with a powdery undertone that mimics the richness of ancient incense.
Musk
Musk, once sourced from the musk deer and now often recreated synthetically, offers an earthy, slightly sweet aroma reminiscent of skin. Its versatility allows it to blend seamlessly into various fragrance families, from oriental to woody, enhancing their depth without overpowering them.

Alain Astori is a perfumer at International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF) known for combining rigorous technical knowledge with genuine creative flair, despite keeping a low public profile. His notable creations include Dunhill Edition for Alfred Dunhill in 1984, Horizon for Guy Laroche in 1993, Magic for Céline in 1996, and a pair of 1999 successes — Hugo Dark Blue for Hugo Boss and the fragrance G for Giorgio Beverly Hills. Over his career he has also created for Adidas, Benetton, Davidoff, Jil Sander, Lancôme, Ted Baker, and Paul Smith.
