Launched in 2018 by Guerlain and crafted by Thierry Wasser, Shalimar Souffle de Lumière is a vibrant Oriental Floral fragrance that balances freshness with warmth. The composition opens with the bright zing of Calabrian bergamot, which gives way to the rich floral notes of Italian Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang. At its core, Vanilla and Benzoin create a sweet and powdery heart, while White Musk adds an enveloping softness. This fragrance exemplifies Guerlain's tradition of using luxurious materials like French vanilla and ylang-ylang from their own plantations in the Comoro Islands.
